Assessing current level of competence
To assess the current level of competence in the various areas needed for professional performance in the role of Trainer / Training Actor, an overview of competences has been provided.
The manager and/or a member from the DeEP Team will complete the overview in consultation with the participant to provide more insight into the current level of competence in each area.
Specific learning objectives will be formulated based on these results.

In order to provide the training programmes offered by Service College in a professional manner, leading to the intended result, it is important to understand the participant’s personal development. Everyone who signs this acknowledges that successful completion of the Train the Trainer programme does not mean that the trainer and/or training actor is a fully qualified and experienced trainer or training actor. The Train the Trainer certificate indicates that the participant has been assessed for the presence and potential of the knowledge and competences required to successfully provide the Service College training programme. Developing these competences requires a strategic and structured approach, primarily focusing on frequent application and further development of these competences by giving training sessions.
