How does Servicecollege.nl B.V. handle data of its customers, candidates, coaches and website visitors?
We respect the privacy of our customers, candidates, coaches and website visitors. We process personal data only for the purpose for which it was provided and in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation Act and the Telecommunications Act.
About Service College
The website WWW.SERVICECOLLEGE.NL is operated by Joomill. Service College is the data controller for the processing of your personal data within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation Act (hereinafter: AVG).
What data do we collect?
When you register online for the newsletter, fill in the contact form, via WhatsApp, the post, the phone, a personal conversation, LinkedIn, a text message, an offer or other requests for one of our services, you will be asked to fill in or provide your data. In that case, we will only process the data you provide to us yourself. This may include the following data:
First and last name;
E-mail address;
Telephone number;
Company name;
Street and house number;
City of residence;
Chamber of Commerce number.
For what purpose do we use personal data?
Data is collected and stored for the following purposes:
Your name and e-mail address are used for sending informative/commercial newsletters. This is done only with data obtained through filling in the website or your request to do so by mail or phone. For this, we do not use data received via contact forms.
Your name, e-mail address and telephone number, which you enter in the contact form or an e-mail or via your business card for the purpose of a quotation request, are used to make an offer. This data is stored in our administration system. Only with your consent will this data enter our e-mail marketing system.
When you fill in the contact form, your name and e-mail address are needed to provide you with a response.
Data account Servicecollege (Learning Management System), if applicable, are only used for the functional operation of the Servicecollege and to provide the necessary information regarding the progress and results of the various learning activities.
By providing the data to us, you give us permission to use the data for the above purposes. Moreover, some of this data is necessary for the performance of a contract if we are going to perform work. We therefore process your data under Article 8 sub a and sub b of the AVG.
If you are a candidate, what happens to the test data?
The moment you are a candidate, you are often asked to complete one or more tests or questionnaires. We have signed a processing agreement with all our test publishers in which we try to ensure the security of personal data as much as possible. It also describes what happens in case of hacks or data leaks. All systems, as far as we can see at present, are set up in such a way that in the event of a hack or data leak, test data and personal data could be visible but cannot be linked. The agreement also states the actions taken to prevent this and, if it happens, what the follow-up steps are. These agreements are available for inspection at Service College.

Office 2016 (Microsoft)
For mail traffic and data processing, we use Microsoft Office 2016. On 1 August 2016, Microsoft signed up to the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield as the first global cloud services provider. All data transfers are made under the EU-US Privacy Shield Framework. As a Cloud Server, we use LiveDrive which is based in the UK. Your data may therefore be stored, transferred and processed in the Netherlands and the UK.
MailChimp newsletters
MailChimp's servers are located in the United States. Your data may therefore be transferred, stored and processed in the Netherlands and the US. More information about MailChimp's privacy policy and their data transfers can be found here.
Servicecollege only provides your personal data to third parties if this is necessary for the performance of an agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation.
