Sales-driven and focused on results
Most of the energy in service organisations is not used outside the company, for instance to land new clients and provide optimal service to existing customers. Far more energy is spent on internal processes within the company. Isolated departments, avoiding incovenient work, not feeling responsible, working around procedures, serving different purposes and interests, customers being sent from pillar to post: we could go on and on.
A sense of entrepreneurship across the entire organisation, or rather all competencies which are covered by this container competency, will result in a climate where energy can be invested in the areas that are necessary to achieve the desired result.
